Sidney and Tammy Moorer have spent a lot of time hurling insults at the family and supporters of Heather Elvis, as well as publicly challenging and taunting the Horry County Solicitor, Jimmy Richardson. One would assume that they would limit their public discussion of the case since there is a gag order in place, but that hasn’t been the case. The Moorers claim that the state kidnapped them and illegally held them as hostages of the State. In legal speak that would be arrested and they were held without bond, but tomato/tamato.

Sidney seems to have issues to those who might be friends of the solicitor. It is a small town, so I would assume that many people know him. There is nothing corrupt about that. What is interesting from his post is pointing out that harassment has allegedly come from friends of the solicitor, however, the Moorer’s friends and associates have engaged in illicit/illegal behavior towards the victim’s family and their supporters.

 

The Moorers have made accusations of mutilated pets, threats against their children, and so many other alleged crimes against them that it really is hard to keep track of. It is hard to read through their posts and determine fact from publicity stunt. The Moorers’ friends hired a hacker to recover identifying information about individuals they claimed were harassing them online. Their “hacker” made admissions that he was hired by friends of the Moorers while under oath in a Stokes County, North Carolina restraining order case against him. One woman decided that she did not want to be involved in the hacking of Elvis supporters, and in retaliation, “hacker” contacted her employer and left a slanderous voicemail about her.

The Moorers allege these acts of aggression and harassment against them, but their association with unsavory individuals who would actually hire someone to engage in illegal activity begs the question regarding how involved they are or what their role in the illegal activity is or has been.

There have been allegations of someone(s) using the US Mail to sign up for magazine subscriptions in the name(s) of Elvis supporters. I’m not sure of the legality of doing this, but it’s very juvenile.

The Moorers’ friends have contacted the employers of the Elvis supporters to lodge false complaints in attempts to have those persons terminated from their jobs. They have contacted friends and family members to cause strife. They have created Facebook pages alleging that the victim’s father is a pedophile. They have endorsed a libelous piece of blogging garbage which accuses Heather’s father of being a murderer, and other allegations against him which can be defined only as filth.

While the Moorers go on the defense about their victimhood, they are leaving out the rest of the story: that their friends are harassing and targeting a crime victim’s family and friends, and their alleged knowledge of the harassment.
