Deric Lostutter KYAnonymous Federally Indicted

Deric was indicted on Thursday by a federal grand jury in Lexington, KY for crimes that fall under the Computer Fraud & Abuse Act for computer crimes committed during his involvement in the Steubenville rape case. The indictment says Lostutter violated CFAA when he “knowingly and intentionally joined and voluntarily participated in a conspiracy” to access a computer without authorization. The purpose of the conspirators was to “harass and intimidate and to gain publicity for their online identities.” Although his indictment is not getting nearly as much media attention as his search warrant did, once again media is failing to provide factual details about his indictment. For instance, Deric Lostutter, a member of the hacktivist group Anonymous, uncovered social media evidence that led to the conviction of two Steubenville, Ohio, football players, who were accused of raping a 16-year-old girl. Deric did not “uncover[ed] social media evidence that led to the conviction” of anyone. … Continue reading →

Trent Mays & the Lunatics of Steubenville

Trent Mays was released from juvenile detention yesterday and apparently cried in court. Boo hoo. I am having a hard time mustering up sympathy for him. He is out of his “prison”…Jane Doe is forever bound by the actions of he and his friends. She doesn’t get “do overs”, and there is no part of me that is hopeful of his placement back into society. Second chances? Nope. Don’t care if he gets one. His attorney released a statement on behalf of his family that has my ass a bit chapped. “The Mays family is elated to be reunited with their son after this trying ordeal. Trenton has excelled during his rehabilitative process, and has earned the right to be released. He is an extremely promising young man, eager to prove himself on behalf of his family and his community. The family would appreciate their privacy during this time together, … Continue reading →

#Steubenville: Lesson Learned? Richmond Thinks THOT

According to WTRF, convicted rapist and All Eastern District D4 Defensive Player of the Year - #Steubenville Senior Ma’lik Richmond is scheduled to be in court Friday, Nov. 14, where a judge could lower his sex offender registration status. Currently, Ma’lik is a Tier II sex offender, which requires him to register with state officials every 180 days for the next 20 years. The city of Steubenville has done everything in its power to make sure that not only did Ma’lik return to the field after he was released from his one year stint in juvenile detention, but that he was and continues to be glorified for his ability to catch a ball - and not be reminded that he RAPED someone. Life has gone on just fine for Ma’lik. The only people who continue to want him to show that he is remorseful is…the rest of the world. Steubenville … Continue reading →

Welcome to Rapeville

I’m going to continue updating this throughout the day in an effort to highlight why people are so disgusted with residents of Steubenville, Ohio. Read for yourself how some of the locals talk about this case. Down right shameful. https://www.facebook.com/WTOV9/posts/10152155144916887 Jonta’ Lucas Mary Kay Tost Valerie Hughes Reda Cornell Birden Mike Cunningham Sean Daly Pat Hannan Timmy Lawrence Tina Baker-Walulik Bryan R. Planned Protests for Steubenville

I wanted to get a post up about any potential protests that might take place at the Steubenville High School football game this coming Friday or after. Tempers are high because Steubenville City Schools and Steubenville High School has allowed Ma’lik Richmond back on the team. Coach Reno Saccoccia says that he deserves a second chance and the city leaders also seem to be taking this stance. A petition was created on Change.org by Elizabeth Beier that generated over 60,000 signatures asking the school to rethink their decision and to remove Richmond from the team. I can tell you now that there is a better chance of Elvis running for president than that. It’s simply not going to happen. Steubenville is…well…Steubenville. People want to protest and rightly so. They SHOULD. I am encouraging protests. Marc Randazza and others have pledged $500 to every school that shuts Big Red out - … Continue reading →

Big Red Nation Says Eff You to the World

It was reported today that Ma’Lik Richmond has rejoined the Steubenville High School football lineup. Ma’Lik Richmond, one of two teens convicted in the rape of a 16-year-old girl in Steubenville, was back on the roster at Steubenville Big Red as of Monday morning.Richmond was found delinquent of raping a 16-year-old girl in March 2013, and must register as a Tier II sex offender every 180 days for 20 years.Richmond was released from an Ohio Juvenile Detention Center on January 6, 2014, and in June of this year, the 7th District Court of Appeals upheld his sexual offender classification. Source I don’t know why I am shocked. I mean, didn’t we all assume this was going to happen? Really, why would this school care about what people thought about them or that they look more like rape apologists than they ever did? It is very obvious - even two … Continue reading →

Less Than Honorable Behavior

There has been a lot of activity coming out of Steubenville lately from illegal gambling raids to the Bill of Particulars being released in the State’s case against school administrators regarding the alleged cover up to protect Steubenville high school athletes accused of rape. Last week the Bill of Particulars was filed with the court which accuses Mike McVey, Superintendent of Steubenville City Schools of wiping computer hard drives, erasing emails and lying to investigators about his knowledge of the allegations against the boys. There have also been allegations of witness intimidation or harassment raised by both the prosecution and the defense in McVey’s case. McVey has pleaded not guilty to felony counts of tampering with evidence and obstructing justice, and misdemeanor counts of falsification and obstructing official business. Early on McVey claims that he and the principal deferred investigation or judgment to Coach Reno Saccoccia when asked about the school’s … Continue reading →

Cultural Apathy

Last week members of the Steubenville Police Department along with agents from the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation executed the search warrants on 8 locations throughout Jefferson County in what was reported to be raids resulting from an illegal gambling investigation initiated by Steubenville Police and Ohio BCI. An estimated $1.5 million was seized as a result of the coordinated raids. What is odd is the lack of response by Jefferson County Prosecutor’s office and the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department with regard to the raids. Why hasn’t the Jefferson County Prosecutor’s Office and Sheriff’s office congratulated Steubenville PD and BCI on a job well done? There have been so many other congratulatory butt slaps over the past 2 years when it comes to joint effort investigations and arrests. Why no congratulatory ticker tape this time? … Continue reading →

The Perception of Corruption?

Corruption is defined as “dishonest or fraudulent conduct by those in power“. Falsifying police reports and tampering with official police recorders so that misconduct would not be documented would certainly beperceived by the average layperson as “corrupt”. Using excessive force against persons who witnessed police misconduct would be perceived by the average layperson as “corrupt”. When those in power turned a blind eye and condoned this type of conduct, the average layperson would perceive that this behavior was “corrupt”.
