For years while writing about true crime cases, my blog posts often turned to not the victims or the perpetrators, but to the behavior of some of the people who follow cases. Some of these people cause great harm to the investigation with their tin foil hat theories and tips, and even greater harm to the families of victims who must endure their endless tripe and online abuse.

During the Caylee Anthony case I made a mortal enemy of William Murtaugh aka Murtwitnessone because he was collecting donations for his personal use and claiming that they were for the “search” for Caylee Anthony. He also did this when he was involved in the Trenton Duckett case. During the Haleigh Cummings case I wrote about the bad behavior of the “true crime groupies” and have written more often than not about these types than the actual case itself.

That brings me to a recent meddler. Meddler is actually too kind of a word for this piece of garbage. I realize that sounds harsh, but what this person is doing to the family of a missing and murdered girl is unspeakable. Deric Lostutter aka KYAnonymous was hired by a group of women for the purpose of harassing the Elvis family and their supporters. Who does this? Since getting involved with the housewives, he has put up two articles at the rag he writes for and has outright accused Terry Elvis of not only impregnating his daughter, but of killing her. Again, WHO DOES THIS? Deric thinks that he is a journalist and refers to himself as a journalist when in reality he is an uneducated hack who writes defamatory opinion pieces on a blog in which the majority of the content appears to be plagiarized. Deric also believes that his pretend journalist status protects him from defamation lawsuits or criminal prosecution for harassment because he thinks he’s a “journalist”.

It is a special kind of monster who harasses a family that has lost their child. I can only hope that karma shits on his doorstep, and I hope that he ends up in prison where he belongs.

  1. I think the Real Housewives of Heather Elvis thought they were hiring theirselves a hunky cabana boy to service their every whim. Instead they got a tattooed toddler with bad teeth and the odor of an overturned cattle truck.
