Can someone please explain to me how this band of knuckle draggers are going to take down a multi-million dollar enterprise with their Twitter nonsense? It hasn’t worked so far. In fact, if they weren’t still harping on about Casey - no one would interview her. Two words: SUPPLY and DEMAND. Boycotts are effective when they hit the pocketbooks of advertisers, but since none of these people ever seem to leave their computers - it doesn’t look like this is going to be very effective for them. Boycotts also don’t involve harassing the media, those who support Casey Anthony or individuals who were seated on the jury.

Harassing people is NOT boycotting. I have never seen such vapid, VICIOUS tweets out of women who claim to be “justice warriors”. Stalking and vilifying the individuals who sat on that jury is NOT boycotting. Caylee’s Warriors are “bullycotting”.

And boycotts rarely work even when conducted by politically connected pressure groups with hundreds of thousand of members. Remember the groups that boycotted JC Penney

The longer there is an interest in Casey, the more the chance that she will get interview offers. All these socially stunted individuals are doing is creating a need for information. IMO the RadarOnline planted/fake stories where a build up / test for CNN to pay/donate to Casey Anthony legal defense fund and draw out more assiduity for a larger venue that will consist of a big build up of …. “What does kc look like now after a year in hiding?” and “How does Casey survive/cope with ALL the false canards” etc…
This is a well planned out chess game. These types of games where well studied and develop prior to 2008. Studios do not just gamble with millions for a guess at ratings or interest. Test Markets and research are done…aka RadarOnline then CNN (low rated show is picked) then if that works out….larger venues with real sponsors = all takes time to manipulate the public.
I do consider myself an expert on RadarOnline and how they develop stories for their web page as well as Star Magazine and Disney-ABC Television Group.

I believe there was a case in Texas in which some bloggers defamed a couple that had been accused of rape, and ultimately exonerated. They sued these idiots who thought they were

do, publishing unsourced, probably false stories about someone in the public eye. Whether its Casey Anthony or Kim Kardashian or the Obamas, it’s what they do. As for CNN, they’ve found

Yes, the logic of who is allowed to profit from Caylee’s death is interesting. Can’t scream it’s wrong for one and okay for the prosecutor who failed. In reality, even that is a flawed argument because what are true crime authors and the media doing? They are selling books and advertisement based on the interest of individuals who enjoy nonfiction and following true crime. If it weren’t for the victim, there would be no story.

The troubling thing about the Casey Anthony case is that these people are essentially trying to deprive this woman of liberty. Forget about a book deal or interview, they don’t
want her to be able to leave her house or get a minimun-wage job at McDonalds or anything. The fact that she had her day in court, that she was acquitted by a Florida jury
in a death penalty case, means nothing to them. They “know” she’s guilty and are going to
impose a sentence on her. Now we have the same thing with George Zimmerman, who even if aquitted will have to live in hiding for the rest of his life. Say goodbye to the presumption of innocence, trial by jury, the rule of law. It’s now trial by media and trial
by Twitter and Facebook.
What is sickening to me is that they are so willing to give up their own rights for the sake of making her pay for a crime she was found not guilty of. NO ONE should have to live in fear. What if this were their relative? Would it be so funny then? Or if it were them. They forget that all it takes is an accusation and they could very well be in the defendant seat fighting for their lives. The system worked. They are violating the civil rights of these jurors by harassing them and interfering with their right to earn a living.

I agree with you on that part re: felons. Has to be some help with rehabilitation because socioeconomics is what landed the majority of offenders in prison to begin with. As for profiting and the whole boycott ordeal, my thoughts are that there are so many LIVING children who need help. So many young mothers who don’t have a clue about childrearing as they came from broken homes that could be helped through volunteer work and real life advocacy. The behavior of the boycotters dishonors Caylee’s memory. That is a travesty and an injustice.
And again, when interest about Casey wanes, there will be no more news about her.
The Warriors are ridiculous sad women, they look exactly like what they are, stay home, child neglecting internet junkies with no real lives of their own. A jury was handed one of the saddest most inept prosecutions ever mounted and subsequently could not and would not put a woman to death based on a paint can full of air. If these women really cared about children, not a dead one that can’t be helped and has cremated, they need to start in the own homes and then move out to their own communities. These women are clearly social misfits, who have found other social misfits where they feel part of a community for the first time in their lives. Too bad it’s based on an irrational hatred of a woman found not guilty in a court of law. Should they be so lucky when their own children start churning through the justice system, as they no doubt will in the coming years due to parental neglect. I use my real name and one can click the link to my fb page and see hundreds of pictures of my son who is now 19. one can easily see i devoted 24/7 to him. while i am on the computer with you…. i am texting him….we are working on his gf birthday gift and his contract for National Guard. My son earned his first eagle scout at age 13. won world championship in karate at age 12. spent 6 years in us navy sea cadets - 2 as color guard captain.. he is a black belt in karate and taekwondo. we spent 2 years on the world circuit competitive tour. What I find really disturbing is that hln seems to be the “leader” of this lynch mob! Their reports and articles seem to keep feeding the crazies. This one by JVM, in my opinion, isn’t even journalism. It’s nothing but bullying. I hate how these people get on the airwaves and cry about some poor child who has been bullied and then they turn around and spew out their own hate on a woman who was found not guilty in a court of law in the USA. I don’t see how this is even legal…yes, yes, I know, there is the freedom of speech and all. But even if it is legal, how do these people sleep at night. Have they ever thought that perhaps kids are watching them…kids see that they pick out one person, whom they feel they are justified in putting down, badgering, hating, and they do just that…put down, badger and hate. This is exactly what kids are doing. Freedom of speech is one thing, and discussion of controversial topics does not have to include rallying the unwashed masses to their lynching of Casey Anthony. I agree with Elena. As much as I would hope that the thought that they had a hand in her death would bother them, I don’t think it would. It would be another ratings bonanza for them. I’ll find some links on Dr. Drew — he has a pretty bad reputation as far as a rehab doctor. Some scary stuff, and IMO when dealing with substance abuse issues of any kind, what good does it do to allow the client to humiliate themselves publicly in their recovery? Most of them started using again, and a few have OD’d. The show was a trainwreck. I watched it, but felt very sad for the people on the show that THIS is what their lives had come to. HLN panders to booger eaters.

Dr. Drew rehab deaths investigated
PASADENA, Calif. (KABC) — A local rehabilitation facility, reportedly run by celebrity rehab specialist Doctor Drew Pinsky, is under investigation after three patients die in five months.
The facility is located on Del Mar Boulevard in Pasadena.
Deaths are considered relatively uncommon at rehab and psychiatric facilities. Investigators found multiple deficiencies at a Pasadena facility that is causing some alarm.
Wow…thanks for the article link! You know, you’re right…all in all, Celebrity Rehab was a reality show, and when we are talking addiction and life and death, it should be a private matter. I was not an avid watcher but did tune in a few times…Dr. Drew did seem to care, but of course, it is TV…people do act. I do know he has had about 3 of those celebrities since die of overdose, so I wouldn’t say it was effective. I did not know about the facility where he was a co-director. That is horrible. Someone comes in to detox and no one watches them…wow. Again, thanks for the link. I guess it all really is about ratings and $$. So so sad.

Doesn’t matter that it was written in 2008. What does the year written have to do with the fact that kids died in his care? There is more than just what’s in that story. Have you done your independent research or are just going to take Dr. Drew’s word for it?
I am a boycotter requester – tweeter…. my reasons are that i do not want kc to be rolling in the $$ as a reward for the death of her child. KC and the Anthony family have made no apologies to the many innocent victims. i am still very upset that jose claims kc and george knew that caylee died june 16. Casey, George, Cindy, etc..said terrible things about the Grund family and about the group of friends that went to Puerto Rico.
the insane lies that came out of cindy n her attorney still have my panties in a twist. remember – i kept blogging all of jan n feb 2009 that caylee was cremated and cindy n her atty kept calling me a liar and made several public statements denying the cremation….that was until the death certificate was released stating caylee was cremated dec 31, 2008. i was telling the truth and yet cindy and her attorney called me a liar and never apologized. and neither did their so called caylee angels who attacked me and my son.
i have a list that runs very deep of the the many lies told by the anthonys…and the hurt they caused real people. r u forgetting the stories they sold? yet according to jose george knew this entire time caylee was dead….and of course so did kc….yet they allowed all these searches to continue and sold t shirts and buttons and begged for donations….donations that george used to put money in kc commissary account in jail. maybe someone forgot the thousands from the foundation that went directly to LEE because cindy claimed he did so much private investigation work. ….i better stop…..

Seriously? When someone is blogging about a person and kicking their ass, and then they expect that person to apologize for calling them names? FOR REAL? CASEY is George’s daughter. I don’t give a damn what anyone says, when it gets right down to it you protect your own even if they are a steaming pile of dog shit. It’s what families do every single day! I respect your choice to tweet your boycott till your fingers fall off, but there are a million other more productive things to do that would actually help a LIVING child instead of one that is dead, the trial is over and will NEVER be retried. She won’t be rolling in millions. She can’t even leave her f*ing house because of your friends.
That’s okay if that’s what they want. The State will have to support Casey Anthony. Personally, I don’t care if she writes a book. She was ACQUITTED, for God’s sake. I will buy her book. I think the story is fascinating in all legal aspects. She was witch hunted by Nancy Grace and her booger eating public, and when they didn’t get the verdict they wanted, they continued to harass, stalk, bully and vilify EVERY SINGLE PERSON related to this case. DISGUSTING. So, in my opinion for the sheer fact that Casey Anthony is being made a prisoner of some booger eating war on American soil is enough for me to say — do what you have to in order to survive. The rest of these piglets are sucking off the government teat.
Totally agree, Prinnie. The whole thing was appalling, especially the fact that The Prosecution tried to cover up that Casey Googled Chloroform only once, instead of the 84 times they said she did. And they did know that this was wrong before The Trial ended. They even admitted it when confronted. That is probably what tipped The Jury, if nothing else hadn’t already done.
The whole thing was a Trial by Public Opinion, vastly aided by the likes of Nancy Grace and Pat Brown, and this simply will not do.
In the end you can’t fault American Justice on this one, or Judge Belvin Perry Junior. But even I was on tenterhooks while waiting for The Verdict.
So any book she does write will be fascinating. Her possible problems with her parents are her own affair.
Oh, and by the way, if Law Enforcement had listened to that Roy, Meter Reader feller instead of treating him with contempt, then they might have known a bit more about what happened.
Casey will not be rolling in $$. The only player in this tragedy-outside of the media of
course-who has made money is Jeff Ashton. A book deal and a movie deal and a cynical
run at the State Attorney office. Even his co-counsel Linda has nothing but contempt for him. Only the Warriors and the demagogues at HLN consider him some sort of hero. Casey
will be lucky if she can avoid being murdered by some vigilante. But she sure as hell has the right to tell her side of the story. This is still America.

I feel that instead of wasting time and energy planning boycotts that will never work and writing petitions that will never make it anywhere, People need to do something else. Why not go out and volunteer as a mentor that works with young mothers and show them how to be a parent. If people would do this, look at the lives that could be possibly saved or it could stop a child from being abused. This is how Caylee should be honored. Not by some useless petitions and groups fighting with each other on the internet. I am sure she would of wanted people to move on.

I’m sorry but anyone who kept files on the things this family did is obsessed with this case. George and Cindy were Caylee’s grandparents and whatever they decided to do with her remains are no one’s business but theirs. They did not owe the public an explanation. They didn’t have to have a memorial service. They don’t ever have to bury her cremated remains. It makes me sick when I read how people call Caylee their child. She is George and Cindy’s grandchild. I feel they did what they had to do with what was left of her. I also feel that by burying that child in a cemetery that it would of only been trampled on by a bunch of obsessed people who never knew her.

Casey was not even on Piers Morgan’s show!! She had called him and spoke to him, He in turn spoke on air about what Casey said. That does not make Casey a guest on his show. HLN shows do NOT pay guests for appearances, pics or anything else so how is it, Casey got paid for not being on a show that doesn’t pay even if she did show up?
